Our tests confirm this to be just about everything Yakima Racks claims the Yakima FullSwing 4 to be. This is simply an excellent hitch bike rack product. The engineering of the swing away arm is outstanding and clears every rear hatch, door or pick up truck tailgate that we tried it out on including a Subaru Outback wagon, Ford Expedition and Toyota Tundra. The arm swings out easily and sturdily with all the bikes loaded up too. The arms also fold down when no bikes are being transported so that it's easy to pull into parking spaces and garages without worrying about the Yakima FullSwing 4 bike rack sticking out too far. The Full Swing is pretty heavy and can be difficult to install for just one person, but once the hitch bike rack is in the receiver it fits very snugly with no play. The price is pretty high but it does include a bevy of features including bike locks, and the Yakima FullSwing is built to last and does include the Yakima Racks lifetime warranty.
